Smart TV platform, V (formally VIDAA) have announced the release of Xbox Cloud Gaming capabilities on select Hisense and other Smart TVs in a new partnership this year.

The app allows players to cloud stream ‘Xbox Play Anywhere’ titles via the internet without the need of installation and a console, delivering high quality gameplay and performance to V’s millions of users in the company’s goal to make digital entertainment accessible to everyone, anywhere.

Corporate Vice President of Gaming Partnerships and Business Development for Microsoft, Lori Wright stated having a partnership with V represents another step towards providing freedom and flexibility for players.

“By expanding Xbox Cloud Gaming to even more screens globally, we’re opening new pathways for discovery, inspiration, and connection to empower players to access the games they love in new ways,” she said.

The new partnership adds to Microsoft and Xbox’s expansion into remote play as the later implemented cloud-gaming in the turn of the decade, including the release of the handheld console, ROG Xbox Ally last year.

While Xbox players on console and PC can already play some of their owned titles (as well as Game Pass library) on their Microsoft-made hardware, the integration in V’s and Hisense Smart TV’s will cement more accessible ways to play AAA games in the future.

CEO of V, Guy Edri said in a press release the addition of the Xbox app transforms the TV into a powerful gaming hub.

“This launch embodies what V stands for—premium experiences that are fast, simple, and globally accessible.”

The Xbox app will be available across supported V markets in 2026, with localization, language support, and content availability tailored to each region, and will work like other apps on the home screen on all compatible Smart TVs.
